Lowell Elementary School History Project

Note: This information is incomplete. Most of this information comes from The News Tribune and Tacoma Daily Ledger archives. Until 1968, the newspapers used to print the teacher roster at the beginning of every school year. However, a few years are missing, so some of the teachers’ ending and starting dates are unclear.

For teachers after 1968, I used the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine to look through old school websites – but these only went back to 1998, and I wasn’t able to find sites for every year after that so there’s a big gap this list from the 1970s-late 90s and after that it’s spotty.
