The school district considers shuttering Lowell in favor of consolidating its elementary schools to save money.

The school celebrated collecting more than 9,000 food items for St. Leo’s Food Connection. ‘We attempt to teach the children about helping out and community service,’ Armour said.

Lowell’s Odyssey of the Mind team does well at the international finals in Florida, coming in 25th place out of 65 teams.

An auction will be held to raise money for computers at Lowell.
